As I've been checkin' out the new screens I've noticed that instead of the previouse one person/pilot in the front cockpit there are now two people/pilots. Can anyone tell me what this means? Has the 'tailgunner' moved to the front? What's happening?

Yes. To enter the cockpit you go in through the nose of the Gal, to enter the tailgunner you enter by climbing the ladder on the right hand side of the cockpit.
