What's ur fav role?

Actually, i was just curious as to what is ur favorite circumstances in planetside... i remember there was a poll some time back asking how u wanted work for ur empire but i want more specifically... what is ur ideal situation?

Mine would have to be hunting down maxs (secondly reavers) i dont know why but i get such joy out of having maxs actually run from me. just tonight i chased a vanu max all through a amp station with my pheonix, it was one of the greatest feelings ive ever encountered in ps so far.

It used to be being deep inside an enemy base with my infiltrator suit.
Not any more. Now, my absolute favorite role is that of a sniper on the offensive. Nothing funner then sniping people off the roofs of a base with the CC on the roof. Just can't wait till I get a striker so I can do something about those pesky reavers and MAXs aside from hide.

yeah, but I have become the thing I used to ridicule.
When I was a infiltrator, I used to take out whole clusters of snipers with my knife. I am talking about 4 snipers, about a couple of feet aways from one another, I worked my way from the back and killed them all with out taking any damage. Figured out a good way to stop that though, I just pair up with another sniper and watch my chat window for his death spam, when I see it, I got the heck out of dodge.

Hmm, good idea, though, I don't see many other snipers, perhaps its because I don't have an outfit, but I do get killed a lot by Infils, which does suck.

i think i'll go for AI grunt, just youre basic agile armor and some weps. i'll use grenades for vehicles, just like in Battlefield 1942.

and maybe some ANT work combined with a deliverer cert for sneaky backside attacks.

Infantry, using Reinforced, a cycler, and a striker. I really like killing other infantry.

Reinforced, cycler, striker. I think overall I really enjoy life as a grunt the most. However I have been whoring in reavers and skeeters for the last week and I am in love with that.

I am leaning towards grunt/vehicle type person. Ideally agile armor with lasher then changing to reinforced with lasher/lancer once near base. Really torn between what vehicle though-- sunder, deliverer, magrider, harasser, thresher--- so many fun things so few certs

Then perhaps adv hacker with last 5 pts.... not sure, never got that high

So Ive got AA, a fast ride, great indoors ability, and we all know the phoenix

I play best as an AntiArmour grunt in reinforced armour:

Striker w/ 12 extra rockets for anything meaty
Cycler w/ 100 xtra rounds for infantry that get too close
A few plasma grenades for when I'm really pinned down

Regen implant w/ BANK for armour repairs so I can be a major pain in the arse for the enemy

It's nice to squat just behind that knoll to take shots at reavers making passes over my buddies.

There were some major battles on the Dalton server against the NC that were epic in scale over the bridges on one of the continents. The NC got tired of losing Vangards and actually rolled out a pair of Sunderers instead...damn they can take some punishment..

I dig the MAX armor and heavy vehicles (I play VS) . I am sure I will experiment alot more in retail. Wouldn't mind being an adv. engineer or adv. hacker either.

Right now im reinforced with a cycler, rek, med-app and your choice of special assault weapon, planning on picking up engy soon so i can have a BANK as well, vice the rek, as well as adv regen.

I will admit, getting into a fairly small, enclosed space with a crowd of the enemy while in my TR MAX anit-inf armor does make a few of my synapses misfire in a happy way.
