I like jumpjets

So I was sniping at an enemy base from this very high hill on Searhus, which I only got to by bailing out of my mosquito, there is no possible way to climb up here as an infantry. That got me thinking. There were a bunch of enemy aircraft flying around below me.. and.. aircraft would be the only thing that would reach me up here.

Well.. I just so happen to have a VS AA MAX cert. I thought.. if aircraft are the only thing that can get up here, and I am anti-aircraft.. bring it on! Jumped in it, and attempted to scale this mini-mountain. After many mis-judging attempts to land in certain spots, quite a few health packs from falling too far, and finally figuring out auto-run in place against a wall gives me quite a bit of motion after I hit the jumpjets, I managed to scale this mountain, and take screenshots. :-D

Note, I am at least 300m above that base below me, so no weapons shot from the ground could hit me. Of course, after I finally got up there, the battle was over, and all the aircraft were gone.. but still.. lookit me up there. :-D

That is very cool, I could do that on my Galaxy actually, I was thinking, get allied snipers in my Galaxy, go to the top of the hill, hover there and hot drop them on the top.

Speaking of jumpjets I watched a PS vid some time ago where a VS max was riding an NC Gal! After a little while he just died, and the pilot got griefed? It must have been old... prolly fixed that bug by now.

thats very cool. I've been trying to get various ground vehicles to the toughest places I could find, just to see if they could make it.

I've taken a wraith to some pretty scary vertical places, but nothing like that. They've got some pretty high spots around the various lands that seem only aircraft (and you) can make it to.

Awesome shot. A nice 1st person pan video from up there would be something to see (and a darn nice marketing tool...E3). Let us know how much damage you take trying to climb down, heh

omg i cant beleive ur geting serious about adding jumpjets to the planetside scene!. u know what happend to tribes 2. i havny waited 3 yers for ps for it to end up being a lagy jumping fest. :P im quite a nice guy really but i dont want ps to end up like trobes 2. btw nice mountain
