hehe, like I said I pity all you haters.. because you are going to be missing out on the greatest game to date. The first one was phenominal and just now all you microsoft haters (who still use windows) are going to be able to play it (2 years later!!).

I'm glad I'm a gamer and not a fanboy.

^yep I have to agree there. I don't have a problem with microsoft and while Halo was a good FPS, it is hardly the best FPS to date let alone best game.

I've played halo for a bit and it is pretty cool.. didn't spend all that much time with it, but what makes it so spectacular though? I mean, it's a solid ass FPS, better than most, but its not good enough to go get an xbox IMO. That being said, educate me please... what is it about halo 2 that is going to make it the best game that ever existed?

just as a quick note, they have the whole 8 minutes of footage up at fileplanet. love or hate microsoft or bungie you should at least check it out.

1) Halo was for a console system. That alone loses points, because it requires me to get something other than my computer. So it costs a hell of a lot more.
2) Not just any console, XBOX. The biggest nastiest console of them all. In reality, it's just a custom PC with a modified windows 2k on it. Why should I buy another computer to play a game like this?
3) It's just another FPS. I'm not saying it's not fun, I liked it. But mostly because of the ability to be co-op. Something I wish I saw more of. But beyond that, I enjoy some other FPS games more. Like SoF2, Jedi Outcast, etc. Games with a theme and features to go with it. Like shooting legs off. I can't emphasize how important this feature is. Oh and lightsabers. Yes.
4) Did I mention it's on the XBOX?
5) I can play SoF2 at any time with my friends. However, I have to call up some people and see what they are doing and if by chance they might want to play some Halo. And then if I'm lucky I can go to my friends house and play it with maybe 1 of them.

well im glad you are impressed by silly gimmicks like shooting a leg off, I prefer depth and story. oh and halo 2 will use Xbox live.

GBA=teh own

Halo sounds OK, but I hate the Xbox, and I doubt I would even bother with a port to PC.

I have Playstation 2....barely ever play anything (besides Kingdom Hearts

) on that.

Conclusion: Computer > all.

You guys have just made me cry..........you all say x-box sucks now but in 3 months we will see what system sucks... PS2 has the lowest graphics in the group. Hell, the gamecube even kicks it's ass out the window and that is pathetic. PS3 will be so ridicuolously over priced and out benched by x-box 2, you should just chuck your PS2 out the window and buy an x-box. The ps2 has a lot of games...but sadly all the providers of those games see the x-box's potential and are leaving sony slowly but surely.

SoF2 is coming to the x-box dumb-ass, and your talking about the console of the future man.....IT'S BACKED BY ONE OF THE RICHEST GUYS IN THE WORLD!!! Which his specialty is you guessed it...computers. He basically has a monopoly on the whole damn thing!!!
