Yeah I was in Beta as well, but really didn't play that much. I actually got on in Open Beta on Sony's Station site and then won the Discs through Gamespot.com. I tried to give the discs away, but no one wanted them. Not I'm playing the SWG Beta.
Hopefully I can get on Beta for EQ2 and City of Heroes. Xander |

Lots of people were in beta, since it went public a week before retail.
I went in right before exclusive ended (2 days before, when everyone started as BR 10). I play in a Bf1942 tournament (BFE), and it was around 5:00 A.M. in the morning, I started a thread in the mess hall (like the lounge) a couple days earlier discussing PS, and people were talking about exclusive being able to give an extra account to a friend. Well a guy posts maybe 5 minutes before I checked the boards, and he says "I was in exclusive, giving away account, first to PM me gets it" so I PM him as quick as I can. I quess luck was on my side this morning (he was still reading the forums!). I hit refresh maybe every 3 seconds to see if he sent me a PM, after about 20 refreshes, I got a PM explaining how to install PS. Just want to say thanks Dartan for giving me that info! |
