To keep things interesting...pls respond with opinions

Would anyone else think that a monthly restart would be a fair way to keep the game interesting and in check?

i mean COMPLETE whipe of everything(excluding Outfits, if possible) for more of a challenge

hell, eventually we'll all be the highest BR and CR and the game wont be fun, so how bout a challenge to see who can have most kills of the month, highest BR of the month, highest CR of the month, most base caps, best Outfit, etc etc

I understand people will hate starting from scratch, but since they wouldnt be the only ones, it would still remain fair and just, not to mention a challenge

Tell me what you think, pls.

Well, I think a monthly reset would take away all point to the levelling system. If you want a challenge, start a new char.

yes, i tried that...if everyone else can do anything but i can only shoot a pistol, what fun is that?

A month is more then enough time to make the highest BR if u play alot, if u dont play alot, u shouldnt even reach it

This also garuntees that outfits can get dedicated leaders, as leaders cant dabble too much into BR and grunts cant dabble too much in CR

hell, make it 45 days if they wanna scoop in the people who still have 15 days of the set and want to try and make the top, i mean if after 30 days they are winning, i doubt they'd cancel their subscription

No. Some of us work and have lives outside of PS. I can only play a few hours a week. Sony needs to give us more to do by the time more people get high rank (which I think they will).

If you don't want to have a challenge, but want to start leveling then why do you caer about leveling at all? Doesn't make much sense when you want everyone brought down to the level you choose.

i didnt want a challenge just for me, i wanted a challenge and a goal for everyone

hell, im not even planning on renewing if the bugs, issues, and lack of goals arent fixed, ill just wait till they are then come back

if they did anything to ensure the game had something good to work for, then it would be fun

as it is, what do YOU plan to do when u mac our ur Ranks? yea, nothing, ull quit and walk away, Sony will lose its money, and no one is happy

First, I plan to continue playing. This is an FPS where I can get some action for playing it. The die hard players would stop playing when they lost their chars due to a wipe that shouldn't happen. You're far more hostile to us than we are to you. We're posting counter arguments but you're just saying we don't deserve to play and we shouldn't be able to get anywhere. Don't make assumptions like that and don't assume we're just playing for the leveling.

Where you in beta, MJ? I was. They had a few server resets like you are suggesting for technical reasons. All the beta players dreaded them. They understood though, after all it was beta. If they intentionaly added server resets to retail planetside, there would be mass rioting in the streets. Sony would loose a lot more money that way, from people quitting out of frustration, IMO.

no i wasnt in beta, sadly, i had comp issues during signups with cookies and whatnot and i couldnt even get logged in right

my idea wasnt random resets, it was planned resets like those seen in Earth:2025 and World-of-War text war games

they are used to put everyone on an even playing ground and make it actually hard for some people to try and get started very early and jump ahead

it will actually show who is best at the game, unlike the plan now

hell, even if there is no reset at least consider the "most kills of the month" etc awards and make a tracker for monthly, weekly, and daily kills, base caps, etc
