Laaaaaaaaggggg


Hey,
Im runnin a p4 2.8 1gig RAM,Geforce4 128Mb and a 56k modem...when i play planetside ill be in a battle and all the sudden people start to disaper and go underground then when i want to reload it will take for ever...is this my connection or compu or just planetside

I get that to sometimes, and my rig is pretty stable. It's deff. server side not client.

Nah it's called 56k. You just have to learn to deal with it, and not go into big battles. I've had 5+ minutes of lag time before.

it is prolly ur conection. i have a pretty crapy comp and i lag sometimes but i can still play. i have a p4 1.3, 512 RAM, Geforce4 mx440, and a cable modem.

And I bet you're getting a different kind of lag than he is. What you get is just packet loss most likely. His is a combination of low bandwidth and packet loss...

Get DSL if you can.

i live 3 blocks and get 136kb/s upload and 334kb/s i think and i got DSL damn SBC
