lol. if you make your own burger from ground beef, and hold it in your fingers & try to shake it, it will probably break. if you go to mcdonalds, and try the same thing, it will just wiggle there. bum bum bummm. btw taco bell meat is ground worms. no joke.

Hot Dogs are for Baseball Games, and BBQ's. Other then that, it's Hambugers all the way. I don't care what's in them so long as there is bacon and cheese on them.

I think Jimmy Buffet said it best when he sang...

I like mine with lettuce and tomato
Heinz 57 and french fried potatoes
Big kosher pickle and a cold draught beer
Well, good god Almighty which way do I steer

For a cheeseburger in paradise
Makin' the best of every virtue and vice.
Worth every damn bit of sacrifice
To get a cheeseburger in paradise;
To be a cheeseburger in paradise.
I'm just a cheeseburger in paradise.

It's not odd if you know the whole song. He talking about being on a diet, and dreaming about Hamburgers. Then again if hamburgers aren't your cup of tea, go find the Jimmy Buffet song "Why don't we get drunk and screw". It's a good one

Hot dogs were created in germany, known as frankfurters, which are basically sausages.

Usually made out of:
  • Meat
  • Meat fat
  • A "cereal filler" (bread crumbs, oatmeal or flour)
  • A little egg white
  • Spices (onion, garlic, salt, pepper, etc.)

Which isn't that bad, believe me, burgers are waaaaay worse
frankfurter <> hotdog (for you un-leet math people, <> means 'does not equal')

If we're speaking of traditional foods, then yes. Frankfurturs (dare I even say "polish" sausages?) are made of good, wholesome "recognizable" meat. But then again, maybe not?

Notice your explanation... It's just meat. WTF kind of meat is my question. Is it the lower intestine? Maybe a bit of headcheese? A tongue or so mixed in for good measure? Meat is much too general.

Especially for "American hotdogs."

All Hotdogs are American. If it's not American then it's not a Hotdog.

Why are you all so concerned over what's in a Hotdog? We all know that it's all the parts of the cow that could not be ground up into Hamburger (think about that one hambuger haters. Hotdogs are the meat that wasn't good enough to be hamburger). The bottom line is that they taste good with mustard.

Every sort of fast food has some secret ingreedants that you don't know about. McDonalds Hamburgers are mostly soy filler, as well as Burger King and Jack in the Box. Hell Wendys used to mix Horse Meat into the burgers until the USDA started requiring them to tell consumers if it was more then 35% Horse Meat.

We live in a world where the French will serve you a plate of Snails for $20 and your all worried about a little rat phesis in your Hotdogs.

If the USDA says it's safe to eat, bring me two

I'm beyond caring what's in the food as long as it tastes good...

and I don't get sick from it...

and I don't die from it...

Other than that, I'm fine.
I was just apalled that he thought that hotdogs were made of "finer" meats than the hamburger.
