I'm not positive but I doubt PS will run w/o a video card. SOE has never supported on-board sound so I don't think they support on-board video either, not to mention it would probably be very difficult to play without being frustrated. I might be completely wrong though.

1) Click start
2) Click Run 3) Enter this command line: Dxdiag 4) Click the Display tab This should show you your video card and how much RAM you have installed. I think most on-board mobo's only have 32MB Video Ram and extend it using your regular RAM. If you need an upgrade, open your case to see if you have an AGP slot (Normally colored brown and offset from the white PCI slots). If you don't have one, I suggest investing $100 and getting this video card. It's not the greatest setup you have, but at least you'll have 128MB available of DDR memory.

Sorry, dude, looks like you'll need a new card, and I doubt that we'll find a working card where we found that busted up comp last time We can look tho

Hello,
PS is a uber 3D game. It will NEVER work with onboard video on most desktop systems. Some laptops have decent graphic's built into them, but most onboard video for desktops are designed only for office applications. Did you crack the case and look for the brown AGP slot? What brand of computer do you have? What brand of motherboard? Thanks and sorry for the bad news, |
