the sims is a fun game as long as you don't own it, either you borrowed it or tried it out at somone elses house. I could never seriously play it for more than an hour before I start thinking of ways to have a genocide of all the sim families of the neighborhood in one house...
For people that say the sims is shit and the worst game ever... if you paid any attention you would realize that the sims is the most popular game with over 5million copies sold the original version and countless add ons people are buying, not to mention the addition of the sims online. whether you like it or not the sims is the most popular game on the face of the earth. Personally I do not care for it, I could watch my own TV downstairs, or sleep, or eat... I don't need to watch some image on my moniter do it. If I play a video game it better be doing something that their is nearly no hope of me doing in real life.

You desire knowledge of why the Sims is so goddamn popular? It's simple, girls buy it, all girl gamers have it. Every female gamer I've ever heard of has the Sims. I think it's a shit-ass game, myself, but they like it.
You know how little girls like barbies, 85% of little girls have some, that's TS for you. Let's manage our house, yay! You know what I also hate? Home Gardening Channel, my mom and my sister are freakin obsessed with that show called Trading Spaces. I'd like Trading Spaces if it were called TRading Spaces. The women and that guy who's probably gay are decorating the home, then this big, hulking TR soldier walks in with a mini-chaingun and wastes 'em. That'd be ****ing awesome!
