Ok, so I talked my friend into playing Planetside, the day he gets it he calls me.

"Uhh... Hi, I just like got Planetside and uhh... Im stuck at this one part, I get on the server and it wants me to join an Empire. I think there is a bug here, it won't let me on the Common Pool Empire, what am I supposed to do?"

I coulden't stop laughing, I diden't tell him too, heh, anyone else had someone they know do that?

No, I played along with him for a while, I said it must be bugged and he got mad for a while. It was very funny, he finnaly got it when I couldent stop laughing.
