Question system specs?


what are system specs for planetside? here is my comp:

P4 1,8 Ghz Processor

256 MB of ram(Thinking of adding an additional 512 MB)

GeForce4 Mx 440 64 MB(i dont really care for gphx, i just cares if it runs the game)

16x DVD Rom

it will run, but ur card is crap. that doesnt just affect how pretty it looks - it will really slow u down. and that 256 wont get u anywhere fast. bu tit will be playable.

LOL thx a bunch!!! this game looks really sweet! i just read about 2 days ago in Comp. Games Mag, and i wanted to get it. D/Ling that agonizing big demo. btw, i have cable, so i dont need to worry bout connection.

Oh also A guy in the outfit I'm in has the same gfx card, in medium battles @ 800X600 with everything off/low he gets sub 10fps not good.

his comp must suck, cause my cousin , he has PS too, and he has same gphx card, but with 1024 MB of ram, 2.0 ghz P4 processor, and he does fine....

the MX440 will not run the game well.

That is a fact based on how the card is dire! You will find the game horrendous on your setup.

I have seen how it runs or rather how it doesn't run it.

It might. I'm with everyone else. That video card is like a little 4 cylinder climbing Pikes Peak in this game. Just getting the job done, but you'll have to overhaul your engine when you get to the top.

Great "budget" card for the game is a GeForce4 TI 4200 or Radeon 9500.

you should look at ebay. ive seen the 9600 pro go for $150 +s/h.9600 pro ive been told runs the game fine on highest or near highest settings just fine.
