Indeed. Anybody exited about being in a job with the danger of being shot has obviously never seen what guns are capable of.

They are right... nothing exciting about getting shot

When the bullet doesnt come out they have to make an opening of about 4 inches and use their kinda tweasers to get in there and remove the bullet.

Then comes the desinfectant and the sewing you back up... Lemme tell you it hurts like hell when your not druged up

A 9mil is just fine as long as you use hollow point ammo.

The thing is you would also want a secondary weapon (like a small concealable revolver) in case you get a double load or a squib.

Well thanks for convincing me guys I took it.

Called them 5 minutes ago while posting crap on these boards and tadam! I start in 2 days! No training necessary they will show me the basics on the field and I'll get a small training session with the head of security a some big agency by the end of the week!

In most situations, probably not. It is more an issue of what you can shoot best with. However there is situations where you would want a bigger gun. Can't really think of why you would want a smaller one, unless you shoot better wtih it.

The larger the wound, the faster they be incapacitated or pass out from blood loss. The faster they are incapacitated, the less opportunity they have to shoot you. However you might not like the larger kick from a larger caliber gun and might find it harder to get second well aimed shots off quickly. You also want a gun that is reliable. Gun selection is definately important.

If you are using a 9mm or smaller for defense, hollowpoints are a must.

BTW, don't aim for the legs. A leg is a thin target. You aim for the chest because it is the largest target. If they are wearing Kevlar you aim for the hips. It is not that easy to hit a moving target (or anything for that matter) when you are in the heat of battle.

Sputty... you have to pass a physical test bud and you have to move in ottawa. (I live in outaouais wich is about 20 minute from ottawa)

So unless you can run five miles and have your gun license I doubt you can
