Yeah, I and a few people in my outfit get the blackout. Seems to be a specific points in bases (rather than random).

A (somewhat) rare one;

Double speed bug; people using dual speed processors (such as the Pentium-M) have the entire game running at double speed. It's quite rare because you generally only get dual speed processors in laptops, and most laptops can't run planetside (some can though).

Not as useful a bug as you'd think though, yes you move at 2x speed, but hacked terms become inaccesible twice as fast (and can't be re-hacked until they really become useless again), wait times for vehicles/max display wrong, the hack time appears wrong, if you die the auto respawn timer appears to run out twice as fast, removing the respawn button but not respawning at sanc until it's really run out, trapping the player into looking at there corpse and hoping there isn't a pop lock (so they can get back in). And quite frankly, moving at double speed when you're trying to keep your squad together sucks.

All of the above and a couple more:


Bit of an extension to the Galaxy landing problems, soetime when you try to land and your wing touches a tree or something the Gal is catapulted across the entire continent at 400+kph. Really annoying as it takes no damage but just slows you down, getting back from the middle of the sea usually, if you're lucky enough not to land in it.


Worst of all i find is the Vpad bug where new vehicles just stay on the Vpad and won autodrive off and just deconstruct, killing you if you dont get out in time.


also there's the one where you drive your vehicle pas the Vpad and instantly deconstruct, i thought they had fixed this one, but it happened again last night, killing both me and my gunner insantly.

Then there's the AMs catapult that sees you fly out of the AMS as soon as you spawn and take damage off whatever you hit.

And the stuck in AMS on a slope bug, where the incline is slight but you can get out of the spawn tube on the AMS, ending up with 10 people in there then some fool decides to shoot everyone with his suppressor....

BTW i think its normal for a MAX to be repairable by either repair gun.


EDIT: also, why wont vehicles stay still when you stop on a hill, they seem to slowly roll down, which is stupid... tanks with no hand brake.

One I've had is that, even though I've had the reaver certification, it would not let me buy any Reavers from the ground/air vehicle terminals. All I could buy was the ANT, and this usually happened right after I crashed. The only way to fix this is to go back to the sanctuary and try to buy a Reaver there. It may work if you go back to a technology plant or a dropship center, now that I think about it...

Yep, i've had that one with the vanguard. Seen other Vans bein purchased but been unable to get one myself, it just doesnt show up on my list of vehicles. Eventually after going back the nth time it let me have one.

I totally forgot about that one. I believe it only happens in Bio Labs, and it only seems to effect the large room directly outside of the CC room. The room becomes pitch black except for the overhead lights which are still visible (but obviously not lighting up the room at all). The first time it happened I actually thought it was something new they'd put into the game which could have ended up pretty nice, flickering lights during a firefight. Unfortunately when you're the only one in the room going through it you eat it pretty quick.

You may be right, but I can sit there for at least a minute trying to access the equip. term. on the AMS. Where as with the spawn room equip term. it's a few seconds (5 to 10) delay. I think this(not being able to access or having difficulty accessing) is related to multiple things. First, I know that a vehicle can "bug" the terminal if parked too close. Also if the AMS is parked next to objects (walls, rocks, trees, etc...), it can "bug" the terminal. Finally, I have also seen this bug occur when the AMS is not on level ground. It's very annoying.

Another one I forgot to mention, 3 times in the past few weeks I've spawned to an AMS only to find myself inside the AMS rather than in the spawn tube. Not inside in the driver's seat, inside between the two spawn tubes. You can't move, you can spin around and that's about it. I have to look at myself in 3rd person, spin the view around until I can figure out where a piece of my body is sticking out and then beg spawning soldiers to TK me.

Ive had the above post happen to me once.

Another not-so-bad bug is that when exiting a vehicle you will appear inside the vehicle, not outside of it near the drivers seat. Many times i have got out of a Galaxy while at a warp gate (filling ANTs) and ended up walking through the Galaxy, looking at my passengers and getting some good screenies.

in the 3rd ofline training misson it tells you near the end to exit you vehicle when you do exit nuthing happens
