Planetside Warcry site closing

Today at Warcry we bring unfortunate tidings as well as good. On one hand, we have made the difficult decision to close our Shadowbane and Planetside sites. On the other hand, we would like to also announce the opening of our Earth and Beyond and Jumpgate sites!

Hmmm, maybe they decided to get out while the going was good.

The only reason I havnt canceled my earth and beyond account yet is it's a pain in the butt to call them up from korea to cancel in a shmneless ploy on their part o keep subscribers, it's not that the game didnt have it's merits, it's just that it was everquest in space complete with the equivalent of druids.

I doubt that was the reason either. But then again I've never played Earth and Beyond but I know that Planetside is a great game.
