Half Life Trouble

I know this isn't exactly the proper place to post this, and that I should be trying a different website, but I'm not exactly on friendly terms with a lot of the places that would be more help.

Imagine that.

Anyway, since yesterday morning, I haven't been able to receive "authorization" from WON. Normally this goes away in about an hour, but it hasn't, and it's really starting to piss me off. Would anyone have the expertise to know what might be causing this? Should I try reinstalling Half Life? And what is the difference between a frankfurter and a hotdog? I never understood that.

I know what ur problem is. Someone has you CD code and is using it to play online. You just got owned mate . The only garunteed way to fix this is to go buy a new Half Life CD at a store (20$) and then taking its CD code and changing your own. If you wannado this PM me and ill get you the CD code changer.

Not True.

Your HL is fucked up or the your internet can't connect to the server. Try reinstalling your HL.
If you have a firewall, that could be the source of the problem too.

Bit the bullet, reinstalled. Works hunky dory. Still don't understand the difference between a hotdog and a frankfurter.

hotdog = made of differant animal parts (depending on where you get it)

Frankfurter = German for the same thing
