Ugh, the bad days....

My "skillz" in PS seem to ebb and flow quite a bit. There are days where I'm in the "zone" and feel damn near unstoppable. Spawning into a base being hacked by a squad of 5-8 people. No friendlies around, and you end up cleaning house and stopping the hack. God I love days like that.

Then there are days like yesterday where I can't hit the broad side of a barn. Days where I square off against someone and ho through an entire clip of ammo and barely scratching them. Nothing goes right and all I end up doing is spending a lot of time staring at my respawn time bar. What really sucks about days like that is when its a day... like yesterday where I'm at work and jonesin' to get home and play some Planetside. Only to stink it up royally. Man talk about a bummer.

I hate days like that.

Yawp. I know what thats like. Happened to me Saturday. I was looking forward to getting to play and in the end I just ended up getting smeared all over the place.

I've had days like that, and it seems to me that when you REALLY feel like your gonna kick ass today, you play like shit. On the other hand, when you're just playing to hang with ur outfit and kill a couple of barneys, you end up locking 1 or 2 conts before logging.

Everyone has days like that, some days you feel like you can solo an entire squad without using a single medkit, other days you are owned by n00bs running around in spawn gear because they don't know how to use the equipment terminal. I find the best way to get around the second kind is just to not take things to seriously, I remember one time a few of the wolves were getting kicked around by a bunch of barneys just after the lasher buff, I was laughing so hard i was crying, and i imagine most of the others were too.

Phew today was a good day, I've been on a losing streek for awhile now, getting no base captures and no kills. But just today I think I got back into things. Hmmoff topic but I think I should take AgentDuck out of my profile, I haven't used him for a logn time and he isn't my main guy anymore. But yeah love the good days, hate the bad.

bad days.....ok you want to hear a bad day story......I was in Rinforced with medium assult. I was going up to a tower, i saw a vanu i went to shoot at him with my guass i missed each shot...he came up to me with a hand gun and killed me...i turned off the game for an hr after that.

Okay, This is my first post so give me a break. I've had one to many bad days thats for shure. First of all the VS is always the minority, so that by itself makes most days rough. Its always somthing. Its either Vanguards, enforcers, prowlers, snipers, MAXS, the list would be endless. But, when you come by a good day, it's the best feeling there is.

I know exactly what your saying.

Sunday I was "in the zone" I racked up over 130 kills with my cloaker/engy combo. Surging through groups of enemies, dropping boomers or mines as I passed...so much fun. At one point, I spawned at the AMS, only to find a TR cloaker laying a hack on. Suppresed his ass just as 5 of his buddies came over the hill. They were all dead before they reached the bubble. Sunday was a great day.

Monday....I died a lot.

Tell me about it. I went one on one against a cloaker with a AMP and me in Reinforced carrying a sweeper and I got owned twice by the same guy in five minutes time. Talk about bad days.

I had one this morning. I couldn't kill this one guy. Same armor as me, I was usuing shotgun, he had Rocklet. I couldn't kill him no way, no how. He killed me, hmm, 9 times, I think. I can't prove it, but I think he was cheating. Why do I think this? I shot him 5 times with a shotgun, and he was hitting himself with his rocklet. I don't know about you, but when someone shots me with a shotgun five times, I'm usually dead from that alone. But maybe It just wasn't my morning.

He may have been using personal shield / regen or something.

I know if use personal shield in a spawn room i usually dont take actuall health damage. all stamina. and crouch shooting means you re-charge before the next guy pops out of the tubes. unless its being zerged. I doubt they were cheating.
