PS icon prob

Ok, this really doesn't hurt anything but it's really annoying. The PS icon on my desktop is fugged up. Its got that missing file icon thing, in place of the PS logo. Anyone got any ideas? This just started yesterday, and i dont recall installing anything that would have effected it. I went in to properties and change icon and this is what i get:

Any suggestions?

Delete the shortcut and recreate it from the dir

I could try but isnt there a command parameter to change the icon to the ps logo? The thing it links to is just the launcher icon. Ill try hold on

Edit: Nevermind i just used the test server logo

Just recopy the launcher to desktop and reroute the icon to the PS testserver one, for some reason the real one got deleted...

Wacky, I got that same thing going on from about the same time period.

I dont do the test server thing either

To restore the icon do the following-

Right click the shortcut.

Go to properties.

Go to the shortcut tab.

You will find change icon at the bottom, click on that.

Click browse and go to your PS directory, there should be a PS icon there click on that , then ok.

Your shortcut should have the logo at the end of the process.

I had the samething happen to both my PC's. It was during the Balance Pass Download. Also I fixed one of my PC's on accident. I got the logo back when I did the Beta testing thing(which i'm pissed that i didn't get to do cause I didn't get my e-mail). When I coppied my PS folder and moved it to my Doc's I got the PS shortcut logo back. I then deleted the extra folder cause the Beta is done. That was how I got ine back no big deal it still works, it just looks tackie.

Had the same problem, and tried the same thing. Left it be and on Wednesday the 29th it was back. They may have changed a filename somewhere during the CC pre-order downloads. That or I have a Vanu cloaker loose in my machine.
