1. Hamma, don't feel too bad about forgetting Cloud's name. Vincent and Sephiroth are the only two worth remembering anyways (ok, and Cid, but Cid is always around ). Cloud suffers from the same main character flaw that all main chracters in FF games do. That being that while the games creators try to make him a badass, he ends up a rather large fairy in the end and is inevitably overshadowed by other much cooler characters.

2. What did the FF movie have to do with the FF games? The same thing the FF games have to do with each other: Absolutely nothing.

3. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals apparently requires you to have a Game Boy Advance. Does this strike anyone else as stupid? I don't particularily mind since I own a GBA and will most likely pick up a GBA-SP before too long as well but why would you limit your potential customer base to those who own both a Gamecube and a GBA/GBA-SP. Then again I have yet to actually find out if it's required or a feature. Some articles I've seen say it's an option, which would be brilliant but most seem to indicate it's required which would be sheer assholery.

What relevance does #3 have? Well, sort of a side issue in answer to the questions posed about whether or not Sqare-Enix will hold up to the legend that was Square. It's also an excuse to rant about something rather stupid, or at least something that could be very stupid depending on if it's true or not.

The movie was a lot of visuals that were remenicent of al the different game things, like the colors of the materia form ff7 in the 8 thingys, the ghosts were form all the difernt undead form all the previous games like zoor or whatever from ff6, etc.

i dont thing people realize this, but, there have been final fantasy games on gameboy since like the early 90's, its not odd for them to release on other systems like that. It is the new "gameboy". Ther are a lot of other game besides 1-11 and tactics, USA, etc.

Theres i review for in in my mag, though its only like gona be an hour long or sumtin and will have to be purchased(sp) with the game (because I think they are remaking the game too for PS2)
