My PC: Stats

Had the base PC for a while, just put in the new v-card + processor + mobo.

PC Stats:
3.6 GHz Pentium 4 w/Hyperthreading + 800 MHz FSB
GeForce FX 5950 Ultra 512 MB VRAM w/8 MB cache
23" Cinematic Viewsonic Monitor
nForce Onboard Motherboard
3 MBIT Cable from Verizon
5.1 Dolby Surround w/4 speakers + 2 subwoofers
Logitech Wireless Keyboard & Mouse
500 GB Matrox (Parchment) HD w/32 MB cache
Total Price: $7,854

its nice but I would have rather saved the 5 grand and just boughten the average ultra computer.

I remember upgrading from 8MB to 16MB of RAM and thinking we'd never need more

I still have my tandy 3100. it has like 16mb and goes oddly to 64mb (came with 4 i think. It was fun when simms wasnt a just a type of video game. And of course the Amiga comidor.
And it was fun getting those game that still had REAL Floppy disks. And i dont mean 3.5 You know before those things called CDs existed or were atleast affordable.

Adn when did a P4 3.6 come out?

My first computer had problems running DOS... beat that

Plus you made a mistake on building your comp... Nvidia.. should of went with Ati... then get on of those big cases in titanium with prismatic paint and custom paintjob from falcon northwest and TADAM! You raised your price by 5000$
