Hey Aen. Glad to see your still posting. Also glad to see you still playing. Your help the other day was greatly appreciated, as I don't think my Flail would have survived as long as it did. I managed to take out not one, but two prowlers with it, and a mosquito, right out of the air.
Back on topic, your idea is interest. VERY interesting. Take this into note, with the up and coming Lodestar, transportation will be at an ultimate, as the Lodestar will allow transportation of large vehicles, such as Medium tanks, and Tactical trasnports, such as the AMS. I hear the Lodestar will aslo be able to transport large groups of troops too. Or so I hear. All this is really conjecture, as the developers have only given us tid bits to go on. This 1 minute HART is interesting, allowing us to get into battle that much faster, or to change continents faster too, BUT it take away from people's desire for mass transportation certs. *waves hand* And I'm not just talking about the galaxy. I tried the Galaxy cert for a while, and to be honest, I'm not a very good pilot. Oh, I can fly decently, with any air craft, and fight with it too, but I seem to become too dependent on my aircraft, and tend to stay near it, keeping me out of the battles, as I want to try to keep my vehicle alive. But I tried the Sunderer, and I didn't like it too much. Nice weapons, but it's weaknesses, to me, outweigh it's usefulness to me. So I tried the Deliverer, and let me say, I loved to drive it. But, I'm a better gunner than I am a pilot or driver. Just ask anyone I've gunned for. To get to the point, if there was no HART, or the time on the HART was big enough to make it more worthwhile to drive or fly to your destnation, then maybe more people would grab transportation certs. To be honest, I hope that SOE creates more ground and air transport units. And let me say, that even though these three new vehicles are not easy to get above ground, I LOVE how you can pilot them in ANY armor type, even though they are enclosed cockpits. They should make a few more vehicles like that.
