Teamspeak

I have already tried posting this in the tech forums, but not enough people go there to make it work :-(

But here we go,

I have been running PS and Teamspeak newest version for months(TS). But recently whenever i run TS with ANY program, and that includes just windows XP Os, It locks the computer. I cannot alt-F4 and no CTRL-alt-Del. Nothing works and needs a hard reboot. I have tried reinstalling TS numerous times, tried playing with dif codecs, all sorts of stuff. It will last anywhere from 3 minutes to 45 before it requires a restart.

Hopefully (not being mean) someone has had and fixed this problem, as TS is a very big part of my PS outfit and it just makes it a hell of alot more fun and tactical.

If anyone has any ideas and sugestions, please, i will try anything short of wiping my computer. Either PM me or just respond here.

Thanks in advance guys.

I tried an older version but it says on their website that they are incompatible with new versions.

Try running TS at high priority, in the options, if you haven't already tried that.

Tryed using different sound drivers? Try also posting in the TS forums on their site, they like to remove bugs from it and increase compatability.

I have tried setting the prority already, no help. AS for sound drivers, i have an onboard sound card. I havent gotten anything except what came with the computer as its only 4 months old. Ill look into that. Thanks and keep the suggestions flowing.

Try WAVE as opposed to directsound in your TS2 settings. Beyond that, I'd tend to think it is a probelm with your sound card driver. There are no issues with TS2 and XP or any other the OS's for that matter and it is known to work with 99% of the software out there.
