Mosquito owns for so many reasons...
1: Overflight radar. Nuff said. 2: Sniper gun. Seriously, check the accuracy on that thing. 3: Maneuverability. 4: Only 3 certs. The extra credit is huge. 5: Interlink invisibility: Wow. 6: No tech required. Very few better ways to spend three certs.

Reaver turreting > skeeter
skeeter value >>> Reaver. If you think a skeeter will down a Reaver easily in a dog fight, go on markov, challenge Kenwayy of the VS. He will hand you your ass in a Reaver 10x out of 10. He is the best pilot in this game, just ask him. hehe |

Reaver was designed for air-to-ground combat, and some air-to-air combat. Skeeter was primarily designed for recon and light attack, and mostly AA. The most deadly thing to a Reaver isn't a Starfire, isn't a Sparrow, but a Skeeter. A medium-talent skeeter pilot can own a Reaver, no question, because of the ROF of the 12mm and the speed of the Mossie.
Reaver usually tends to rack up more kills though, it's quite good on big, moving targets, like tanks, and...ooh....gals. It's great killing full gals with a big payload of rockets.

I pilot a Liberator in Gunship mode (500 35mm rounds) quite a lot when I play my NC char. I can assure you that if a mossy gets on you and they dont suck, your screwed (no tailgunner). The turing speed on the Lib is so bad that it is impossible to counter a mossy that gets the jump on you. However, I have found a method that works quite well for liberator positioning in such an instance. You have to head towars some trees (base is best) and put the rear of the plane near the ground and have the rear and most of the top blocked from fire. Then you can rip them up if they are stupid enough to standoff with you. Most of the time you wont make it to any defensible position. Gunship mode works best on a cont with a dropship link for quick reloads and repairs. Fly low to the ground and snipe from as far as you can
Skipping the bombs entirely and going pure gunship with a tailgunner is by far the most fun way to play a liberator and extremely effective. The problem here is that hell will freeze over before you get a pickup tailgunner that wont bail on you if you go more than 30 seconds w/out him being able to fire on anyone so this is purely an outfit mate thing.
