Some of our posters are NOT americans, they are CAnadians, EU people, some even from otehr places.

In some places, driving a vehicle that makes YOU safer, at the expense of other drivers is unthinkable, everyone should drive the same dangerous vehicles.. its only fair.

SOME people belive that the Earth is going to be so scarred by mans use of fossil fuels, that to drive anything less then the most econmical car available, is to spit on future generations. (mind you, the scientific community, I am talking about those indepedant orginizations, not the PRO-GREENIE or PR

AUTO INDUSTRY types, have all concluded that Global warming is junk science...)

SOME people belive that it is UNFAIR that one person can afford a $60k vehicle while someone else might only be able to drive a 15-20k vehicle thus thats unfair and not right...

SOME people belive that ALL SUV drivers are ego maniacs out to rule the road because o fsome sort of infiriority complex..

NOTE, 90% of all anti-SUV crap is based on FEELINGS.. nothing more.. Some pople are just more sensitive.

Mr V, my poll what would Osama drive has no political value, its more of a comedy poll. I dont quite know if that was the basis of your last message or not just trying to keep the poll alive. Personaly I'd like to drive a Hummer! WIth a Gun Turrent for those damn lousy drivers!

Some people talk like everything is politically motivated.

Some people think that individuals who badmouth SUVs are following a brainwashed manifesto rather than making a personal choice.

Some people jump to uninformed conclusions about the people on opposing sides of an argument.

Don't forget that 90% of all the pro-SUV crap is marketing, and the people who get upset on either side of it are oversensative.

Also note that claiming that 90% of something is something else sounds solid, but really isn't.

By the way, 90% of me is going to loot the bodies of my fallen enemies across the 10 continents of Auraxis.

Well In my opinion SOME of those places are wrong. People should be able to drive what they can afford. Saftey comes at a price that can only be bought by SOME people. Not everyone is equal and life will never be fair. This is the sad truth so SOME people better get use to it.

You sound like a tobbaco company claiming that ciggarettes don't cause cancer.

The scientific community knows that global warming is a reality.

The scientific community understands that some molecules are better at retaining energy from the sun than others.

The scientific community knows that when our atmosphere is better at retaining energy, the average temperature of the earth goes up.

I am merely pointing out where people are posting raw unadulterated lies to support their argument. Conjecture that is touted as fact is generally damaging to an intelligent discussion.

If you don't want me to bash your facts, quit with the conjecture.

If you want I will explain global warming to you. Just PM me I will be more than happy to explain to you how global warming works, why it is a reality, what its effects will be and why it is or isn't a threat.

I am not anti-suv. However I am not going to let people perpetuate misconceptions.

lol good liberals suck I hope they all explode randomely. But do you want everyone to be equal or do you want diversity in power is kind of the question actually. I personally like the idea of being able to work to higher levels of soceity. Oppertunity is everywhere its just some people don't see it and they are the ones who complain.
