Freelancer was pretty good the first time around , i dont see how people can still play it compulsively

BioWare, Blizzard, Verant (I have to admit, EQ was fucking addictive back in the day, but SOE ruined it) ummmmm... Team Ninja (Ninja gaiden) and Peter Moleyneux (I SPELLED HIS NAME RIGHT! OMFG), who is responsible for Black and white 1 and 2, Dungeon keeper 1 and 2, and soon 3, Fable, ect.

Lemme see theres troika (fallout and arcanum) bethesda (morrowind and all the goodness assosciated along with i think carmen sandiago) muckyfoot (dungeonkeeper and startopia as well as i think syndicate and some others). I tend to be very oldschoo. Also you cant beat blizard.

I say Blizzard, their games don't usually add anything new to the genres but they make them nice and solid with good gameplay.

Sierra can suck a nut for canning Dynamix. Edios and Square are my faves.

Black Isle became troika. Same basic team, I wish they'd do fallout three or arcanum two I really loved those games.
