Must be the funky lighting, phones don't have a flash... The blade is polished steel and the guard is a dull steel, and the hilt is kinda a bronzed steel.

The sword is a bit over four feet long, it is a gladiator's sword, designed to be swung with one hand, but the damn thing is nearly impossible to handle gracefully with TWO hands... So I would hate to mess with the guy that can handle this sword easily with one hand.

I love midevil and ancient weapons, so this is another one to hang on my wall.

How the hell would you hold it with two hands? The hilt is so small. And put something around the hilt (leather, or tape at least). Makes it look more tasteful and if you ever hit someone with it your hand won't hurt as much as it would from being in contact with the metal.

The hilt is actually kinda big... It is exactly two fists long. But nothing like a katana, which is easily 3.5 "fists" long.
