Usage Note: The term for a town or city that serves as a seat of government is spelled capital. The term for the building in which a legislative assembly meets is spelled capitol.
if they don't fix this in less than a week, i'm going to have some good content for my next strip.

I think he meant "How do they mow, when they hover."
As in, if Jackie Chan can get run over by a hovercraft that actually contacts the ground, and stand up afterwards (and don't give me that special effects crap), then how can a completely anti-grav magnetic levitation device actually run people over and kill them? Generally when you think of being run over, I wager that you think of a big heavy object squashing you to a fine pulp, its weight flattening you out against the unwielding surface of the ground. There's also forward momentum. If I slam into someone in my Dodge Durango at 60 miles an hour, they would be blasted fifty feet in a direction and their internal organs knocked askew by the full force of a charging vehicle. But then again... 69 kph is like 35 miles per hour. EDIT: Martyr I just saw your latest comic, the dear diary one. "Waiting for the Interlink Facility service to hook us up" ... haha Last edited by Firefly; 2003-12-26 at 08:59 AM. |
