That's cool the beta guys don't get preferential treatment, I mean they already got a chance to play the game.

I never get too attached to a name, but I do use a few over again in different games. I still haven't decided if I'll use this one in the game, and there are a lot of words out there. Interesting dilemma for those that get in the beta. If you make a name for yourself, that name is going to be one of the first ones gone on all the servers.

I hate having 5 different nicks, i want my online buddies to know if i'm Dio in Tribes2 you know i'm Dio in PlanetSide. Of course i probably won't get Dio so i'll have to find some other way to write Dio, hopefully they allow numbers and perhaps even special chars.

yeh but that means that a load of newbies/total losers are gonna surf the net see a name that they like and use that n if that person hass a good rep. then thats that shattered n theyve got to start again. i hope they let peeps use the same name, like in UO. lets face it there is always gna b sum1 out there just trying to ruin it for everyone else.
