Today I came to the realistaion of what I would like to do as a future career. I don't think many people know they want to be a politician at the age of 15. Really I haveg a passion for debate, and socio-econim issues. Although I am still keeping my options open (I originally wanted to be a game designer, make models, or do coding, or something like that), but now I have realised, I'm just not good enough, compared to all the others my age who can do more than I can, and are better at it. Does anybody think this is a good course of action to persue? Maybe I can make games later in my life, if my political career slumps. But I want to make a difference, I want to have a say that matters in what happens in our world today, I want to share my ideas with the world. Am I reaching too high? Is there a limit as how high too high is? I know that I will have media, and powerful figures against me, but I will try my damned hardest anyways. Hopefully you can be seeing my name on a ballot somewhere within the next 5-10 years

just remeber, if you can't answer a question very well say "I support all that is good, and despise all that is evil" since thats all politicians pretty much say when asked a question you should be fine!

For the people, by the people.
Just remember you work for them, you WILL be wooed by special interestes and shady people, keep your word to the people you were elected by and you will be great. I saw this quote in Newsweek once: "The is no democracy with professional politicians." ~Tide |

Just remember the true meaning of politics. Let's break down the word for those who don't already know. See, originally it was spelled polytics. This is why most people don't know the true meaning. If we break down the word into its parts, the real meaning is shown.
"poly", the latin root for meaning many. "tics" nearly brainless blood sucking parasites. Seriously though, if you want to be a polititian please don't be a stupid one. Use common sense and the people's wishes to make decisions. Don't be influenced by special interest groups who are only concerned with what will benefit their small minority.

I think those that those who have a true passion in politics are not the ones who go in to take over the government for personal gain. Those are the ones not interested in politics, but simply, personal gain. Stry, I am pretty sure most gamers will want to be game designers, that means the markets will be flooded with avaliable workers. I am keeping the option open to go into game design, but my main course of action will be political studies, and most likely history.

If you want to go into that, start hanging out on political debate. Politics is an endurance field, you'll constantly be taking a beating from the other side. So friends are good, if you're smart in your decisions, and the people who vote are smart enough to know you're looking out for them, you can go far.
But there are lots of crooked politicians, don't be like them.
