melee weapons are fine as is other things need to be fixed or changed before anything happens to knives. if u wanna have fun knifing peeps get infil and melee booster and use secondary attack on knife with melee booster it pwns.

a veriety would be good, and the ability for a knife to be looted would also be good.

But the knife is a standard weapon everywhere like your armor. So no.

It's not "wohoo, i'm going to go smack some people around with my rocket launcher." It's "shit, he's going to reload before me, *thump.* Well he would have." Running around deliberately trying to melee people would be retarded, but its painful to have to get into the situation where you and the other guy both have to reload and you KNOW he is going to be done first.

Ok I don't really want to see any other melee weapons in the game. Things are just fine now, but if I didn't care for the well-being and balance of the game...

Another cool idea but a useless addition to the game, Planetside is a futuristic combat game in the future you dont want to get close enough to be able to hit with a melee weapon.

What game have you been playing? Because the one I have was up until very recently dominated by near point blank shotgun battles. Not I can tell if you shaved this morning range, more like i can tell what color your eyes are range.

Im a sniper, gauss, and im great with the Sweeper and Scat MAX when things go indoors. But I personally dont want to be that close out in the open.
