The MAX

i was thinking about the maxes today while being very board at work, and i was trying to think of a way how to make them hackable for other empires, its a dificult one coz most max users get very protective over letting other empires use them.

sooooo how about (this is an idea im making up on the spot) every time you kill a max they leave some thing in there backpack, like a module or some thing once you collect, say....20 or so you take them to a capital building, when they are put in.....and you can exchange them for that empires max, so if you try to cheat by getting loads of your own empires you only get access to your own maxes.....

as i say i made that up as i went along so, dont flame to hard..

I don't like the idea because I like my MAXes even though they suck. I still don't want the VS or NC to get mine.

i thought thats what most would say, as i kinda feel the same

but i also just wanted to see the other maxes in different empire colours.

some of the vechiels look better in the other colours like the thrasher looks best in the nc colours............

I was thinking about that too, I was thinking why not have MAX's actually be suits of armor that you get into...

So there would be a special platform aside from the spawn room where you get fitted into a max. You could get out and in of it outside the base but it would be a lengthy process. So when you die inside a max maybe someone could repair it and get back inside it?

I wouldnt mind being able to do that. If we were going to be able to do that it would have to be like when a max dies the person inside goes away and the max suit get split into its pieces the you hack it and your in it.

I like the idea very much, it needs a shitload of work, but it's a good basic idea. The only problem though is for the first few weeks everyone would hunt MAXs.

Heck, carry this idea out a bit farther, why can't you loot armor on the battlefield? You get everything else they own, why not the dang stuff they are wearing? I can see the confusion when some barney gets wacked cause he's in a tr rexo top. Would be kinda cool though.
