I was working without surge on my NC character for the last couple of months, it's not that bad. It makes interior boomer runs a hell of a lot harder, but not impossible. I personally think the implant was better used in other ways anyhow, and anything that adds more diversity to the implants people are using is good in my book.

I've got an infiltrator and I've never used surge, so this doesn't hurt me at all.

Is it just that I am NC or what because I have rarely ever see these surgiles in combat. Maybe once or twice but that is it. And I am not exagerating. I do play alot too.
