Why do companies keep insisting on making quality FPS's for consoles? Don't they understnad that PC's are far better for those?

I agree. I hate almost all FPS's for consoles. Only one that I really did like was halo. They had the graphics perfect and the aim that wasn't quite auto aim, but not impossible to use, because of how the reticule was set up.

PSM did a real tiny one page preview for this game about 4 months ago. Saw it then and it looked amazing, I'll have to check out the new issue haven't read it yet.

From the FAQ section on the forums:

Will Killzone be a PlayStation 2 exclusive?
Yes - on 22nd March 2004, Guerrilla and Sony signed an exclusivity deal that will see Guerrilla develop games exclusively for SCEE and Sony platforms from now on.

(that rules it out for me ....screw ps2)

Will I be able to drive vehicles in Killzone?
There will be no driveable vehicles in Killzone

(um sorry no)

Is Killzone going to be a Halo-beater?
Killzone and Halo are going to be very different experiences, both in terms of their online and offline play and their look and feel. In Killzone the emphasis is placed more on intense, gritty and realistic squad-based combat. In short, if youre expecting a clone of Halo, prepare for a surprise!

(hell they would be better off going with a clone ....lol)

Playstation Magazine raves about this game, and theres only like 5 screenshots. I think it could be potientially disappointing.

Even if it is good, it may only be a Halo killer. It won't be a Halo 2 killer.
