New COmputer question!

Ok I have 1 more question befor I order my computer....

My Case has 2 Fans and a Heat Temp LCD screen. Are there enough Sockets to plug the 2 fans and the LCD screen in? And that everything is capatible with everything. Just doing last minute checks....

Zeltron 4000

my cursory check shows that the fans and temp display are already plugged into your power... so yeah, it'll be fine.

as for compatability, i think the temp lcd only displays ambient case temperature at the front, under the drives, so there's nothing that it has to work with (no mobo interfaces or anything) - it's all atx, and looks fine to me.

Everything looks compatible to me. If you need to, you can buy splitters for your power supply plugs.

I personally would not go with a Samsung hard drive. I've never had a good experience with their hard drives. Their monitors are ok, but every hard drive i've had from them is definately on the low end of the quality scale. You can probably get a cheaper floppy drive than that too.

I would say your fine

Though i would go fro a Westerndigita Caviar Harddrive, the samsung is cheaper but they are no ware near as reliable of fast. You can get a WD 120gb SATA driver for like 10 bucks more.

Ther rest of your system looks nice man

i have a front LCD display on my case, and basically u get 2 temp sensors that you can place wherever you want inside the case (on my case at least). I wedged one under my GPU heatsink, and the other i taped onto my CPU heatsink right next to the die.

Pass-thru cables are teh suck.

I'm a stickler for a neat appearing case. I have sleeving on my Power supply that I did way before it was the trend. I hate pass thru cables to your front ports. What a pass thru is is a cable that comes from your front ports and hook directly into the back ATX I/O panel of your motherboard, instead of hooking up to headers on your motherboard. Almost all modern motherboards come with headers for the audio and USB, and some come with Firewire headers as well.

If I were you I'd go with an Antec SuperLanboy Linkage because of two reasons;

1) All aluminum means greater heat dissapation

2) 2 120mm fans that are somewhat adequate for cooling. Recommend getting different fans later on, but for now they're good enough.

At only an extra $20 you get a really nice fully upgradeable case with NO PASS THRU CABLES.
