Slow download rate

I'm currently running on Wireless DSL. All the PCs are networked to my father's one, but the download rate is really, really SLOW. When I needed to download all the patches for PS, it would stop after a while. When we hooked it up to my dad's, it took 20 mins to download it all. Looking at my CoH updater, out of the 725MB, it has only downloaded 106MB in the last 3 hour and half hours. I have over 14 hours left to wait and the rate it's going at is, 11.7K/Sec.

Any ideas of what I should do?

Get a wireless/wired router, and dont rout it though a computer

also a wireless lan is not wireless DSL

I know a guy who has 512 DSL, he was downloading the full version of MP2. The estimated remaining time was around 80+ hours. Half way through, there was a data error.

DID I post a link to any warez? I just mentioned someone who was downloading MP2 and how it was taking him a long time. Honestly Robert, you've gone mad.
