I've read some of his book, very exciting. I've Read the "March Up Country" and "march to the Sea" a colloboration of him and whatisname- Ringo something. Haven't finished it as i can't seem to find the last book.... Anyway, I've read the "Excalibur Alternative" too, great stuff. Oh and i've read the Ender Saga, and the "Home Coming" series too. Not to mention i've read the latest novel by Peter F Hamilton "Pandora Star" a book based on the universe fortold in "Misspent Youth" and the one who wrote the "Night Dawn" Trilogy (<- Must Read!!) Whew. I think thats all i've read so far in the last 6 months.

Stephen King: Dark Tower Series, Wolves of The Calla. book five i believe...
This is the best series i've ever read. The only other worthy series's are: The Battletech: Blood of Kerenksy Trilogy and The Battletech: Twilight of The Clans series. Battletech? indeed. Micheal A. Stackpole should've been the only one to write BT books. He's so damned good at it. His trilogy is the only one that ever got any real attention. Anyways, i'm in college to become a writer/director and i'm putting that damned Trilogy to Film before i die. I swear to God and all that's holy that i will do the books justice.

lets put it this way, I was like hamma, I think reading is boring, I dont pick up a book unless I have to, but god damn. I love this honor harrington series, the way david weber writes.. even wehn he's diving into the political aspects or technical aspects of the universe in the series it keeps you interested... I love it.

I stopped reading those Star Wars books when Chewbacca was killed by that falling moon.

Dunno, I quit the series right then and there. I could care less if they beat those Yuzhan Vong. I hope the Chewbacca-less New Republic gets destroyed!
Well, either that or that fucker who wrote that book. I'm pretty sure he was a new author, Kevin J. Anderson and some of the other old school SW book authors would NEVER have done that... |
