rap is a way of life my ass im so tired of people saying rap is a way of life the only reason you say that is because black people started it! and in my book that isint right u dont just say somethings good because u want to support ur ethnic background! i dont go around listening to Opera just because a long ass time ago rich white europeans used to listen to it, u saying that its a way of life is a joke and by most blacks just looking at it and saying its a way of life, is a rascist thing to say thats just like saying its better because my own people made it and that sir or whoever you are is more rascist than anything else today!

First off, lee. You're a newb, so I forgive you, but here's how it works:

On these boards, we use proper grammer.

The black community has completely embraced this sub-culture. Join a gang, have lots of sex, write rap, insult whites and women, play basketball, sing. That's what the black stereotype is. How about we hear about a black guy developing a cure for some kind of disease, or making a technological breakthrough, or something, instead of seeing 'em sing and play basketball.

Oh wait, that was saying something bad about blacks, I must be a racist. I better go to re-education with the public school systeml, so then I can make bad comments about whites. In this way, I can channel my racism, so it stops being racist.

But seriously, some of my best friends are blacks, the girl I like's hispanic, I got minority friends/aquaintences all over the place. Don't give me the "racist" bullshit. Where I live I'm up to my eyebrows in racist blacks, and it's time the white community started calling 'em on it.

By the way, Queens, show me a quote by Jesse Jackson or Al Franken passionately attacking this negative culture. I'm interested to see if there is one.

I say rap has about 5yrs left in this world then they will quit making new rap -stations and everyone that supports rap and listens to it will have to listen to 108.9 rap crap oldies!

But seriously, a few apostrophes is something you need, it makes you sound much more intelligent. For example:

It's (it is), That's (That is), She's (hers, or she is), He's(His, or he is), its (The exception, this is used when doing possessive. For example: The balloon was falling, its air supply was running out.)

That and commas, and good word usage.

Here's an example of the effects:
1.Hey, man. Did you see that one chick? She's kinda hot, much like this room is. It's really goddamn hot in here, where's the AC?

Isn't that nice?

2.Hey, d00d/ Did j00 se taht 1 chick? Shes kinda hot, like the room. Its really godam hot in heree, wheres the Ac?

Terrible.

On the first one you can feel the intellectualism pouring out of the writer, on the second, a third grader with down syndrome might as well have written it.

Mexico is somewhat close to where you are, lee. Shouldn't you know at least a little Spanish? Not only that, you're an American, yes? So shouldn't you know how to write your own langauge correctly?

Rap is better than Jessica Simpson and Britney Spears, IMO.

Its just that rap has gone toward more gay party songs like in the club, that tipsy song, and 75% of other rap songs. I only like a very limited ammount of rappers (2Pac, Dr. Dre) because their words actually meaned something and it just wasnt all these 1 hit wonder rap songs that you hear on the radio all the fucking time. Those are the only two rap "artists" I like and I think all the rest of them suck. Maybe thats just me.
