I grew up with NASA so I take this tradegy very seriously.

I would like to ask all my brothers on PSU to say a prayer with me either on this thread or on their own.

To the family and friends of these great people we lost today. Let these brave and strong souls have merit in your kingdom and reward them for their strength and courage. I as a human on Earth could only Hope to Be as great as these individuals and wish to strive to be so. I wish their famliy and friends happieness and love for the rest of their journey here and hope they can understand what a sacrafice their fallen ones have made for the better of mankind.

I am not deleteing that post this is not a LIGHT subject. Oh HAHA shit why did they jump from the Trade Center on 9-11 kinda of stuff.

I am sorry but I will not. I will get banned first. This was a horrible tragedy that is not soon forgotten. When you grew up on NASA, you live NASA. I ask for prayer and I get a joke?!? Do you see these brave warriors under my name that were and probably ARE better than any of us will ever be put together??????!?

P.S. if the joke thing was a BAD ONE, which it was, I will say sorry, but its in bad taste.

(Sorry admins I dont back down on this kinda stuff..... The shuttle blowing up is Kinda serious)

Are you honestly saying that this is more serious than people dieing in the world trade center? This is NOTHING compared to the world trade center. this is NOTHING compared to a plane crash where like 100 people die. How are these people warriors eather there out in space doing stuff and if they agree to go out there them and their families should be able to cope with the concept that its a high risk job. How the fuck was that offensive either I didn't make fun of anyone in bad taste I even went on later to say I was being stupid and then I went serious. Nasa is probauly more pissed on the money they lost from that mission.

This is still horrible when anyone who doesn't deserve to die dies its horrible. This is really isn;t worse than a plane crash if you ask me.

I am glad you have feelings Hoss, but I started this thread to give Prayer to the family and friends for the shuttle crew.

I believe space exploration is necesary for our survival. And this was a major set back.

I dont like to flame anyone but my point is I wanted this thread to be a prayer for the crew........... I know I went off but I wish we could have it a prayer thread. What do you say? Can you say a few words for the loss we just had?

yah I'm sorry for the joke it was kinda in bad taste the more I think about it. Just trying to cheer up the situation ya know? Its a horrible way to go but they were closer to heaven from where they were I guess(please don't yell at me this is just a positive outlook)

Seriously though, yeah, it's a bad thing that happened. But if you really wanted to find support or something, or whatever it was you were trying to accomplish with this thread, go find some NASA board.

(No, I am not some evil insensitive freak, and yes I think what today happened was bad, but we will move on just like we did with Challenger)
