I am thinking Vanu all the way. Although I wouldn't rule out New Conglomerate.

I'm partial to the hard-ass, extremist factions whom rule their people with an iron fist and crush their foes to a bloody mess, so I'll very likely be going Terran Republic myself. That, and black and red armor is just neat. Not likely that girly purple or blue and yellow stuff the other Factions wear.

I'm with you WarBorn. I like the hard ass's. That's whay I always loved the Blood Eagle in Tribes. They were the ones loyal to the Empire (or what ever the back story was), and the armor looked cool.
The Black and Red armor really sealed the deal for me though. I am partial to that color scheme. I really like the NC look too though. The blue suits, and yellow face mask really remind me of the Judges in Judge Dread comic books. If you've ever read one of the comics, or heard the Anthrax song about him you'd know that Judge Dread's the man. He is The Law. So out of respect for awsome comic books I like the NC too. |

Yeah, the helmets for the other two Empires has the Terrans beat hand-down. Now, there IS one suit of Terran armor aside from the MAX with an enclosed helmet, but the lighter armor has that open face with the little goggle things and, really, it's nothing when compared to the visored helm of the NC (as you said). If I were making the armor, I'd have given the lighter Terran armor a little thing that covers their mouth and nose -- like a rebreather looking device. Something to make them look a little more sinister and, hell, protected too.
By the way, I thought the Judge Dredd movie was good |

Well the only depressing part about the Moive was they broke a cardnial rule of the comics and showed Judge Dreads face. I mean if the comic makes a big deal about never showing him with his helmet off the moive could have at least made an effort to do the same. Like maybe have it get knocked off in a fight or something, but nope. Stalone takes it off right out the gate and never puts it back on.
Other then that it wasn't bad for a comic to moive translation. (Blade still get's my vote for best Comic to moive translation) |
