BF:V Music

I'm going on vacation tomorrow and I was looking around for a few good CDs for the trip when I remembered all the great songs on BF:V. I've looked around in all the files and done a few searches but nothing has come up. Is there any way to get those songs or are they trapped forever?

Have you tried playing the Game CD in a music CD player? I think that will work. You might have to skip the first track cause it's probably not a song but really data. Try it out then tell us if it works cause I'm too damn lazy to try it out my self.

Look around in the CD Directory, I'll bet the tracks are in there.

EDIT: C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield Vietnam\Mods\BfVietnam\Music

Found 'em, but they're .bik, and I have no idea what that is, doesn't play in winamp or WMP

Download Rad Video tools from

http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm

and then you can convert the files to .mp3 then stick them on a CD with nero.

(Thats if you purchased the game, technically you own the liscences to those songs because you payed for the game)

Yup, you can convert them with bink & smacker, I dont know if you can make them .mp3s though, I could only make mine into .wavs. Also, All Day All night ends up being 10 minutes long, even though the song only plays during the first 3 or so minutes of it. You can probably fix that though with audacity, another program great for cutting music, you can also use Audacity to convert the wav files to mp3s.

Get Audacity here

Well if you can get them into .wavs then you can yet again convert them from .wavs to .mp3s
