And the VS are supposed to be versatile, so their HA can be used as SA.

Lasher spam is countered by the thumper, the maelstrom and hand grenades on 3/2 second fuses.

some people dont have Thumper, maelstroms are not always avaliable, and most people do not carry nades with them. then how do u counter that.

I carry a jammer and a plasma 'nade clip on me. That and a REK. They should be standard issue. Jammers save my ass. AND the NC get all jumpy when i throw them on 2 second fuses straight up... Fun as hell to see the NC get all nervous when I take away their precious DLV... I got a group of four to almost kill themselves looking for me. Kept shooting wildly when i jammed em. All I had to do was knife the two survivors once each. I had fun....

That's like saying "well some people don't carry decimators, how are they supposed to counter MAXs."

The point was that with a little bit of thinking, the lasherspam can be overcome.

The only point i was saying that NC arent ll whoring the Jackhammer and the like, and neither are the other empires. Thats all. Some of us can do quite well with weapons people dont use much.

I'm going to interupret amusing as "funny".

Riding in a sundy, and watching in 3rd person as our whole squad accidently drives off a cliff in Ceryshen. We all died, but it was funny as hell.

Seeing a hotdrop on a base we just resecured from a back hack, theres 3 of us, i jumped back into our libs ball turret, and smoked the fucker in the CY as he started doing his Jackhammer twostep surge bunny dance on my squadmate.

Being in a hurry while driving a maradur, seeing a bridge, knowing full well that it was probably mined out the wazzo. Sure enough, i ended up leaving that vehicle on the bridge at 10% armor. Took off on foot, charlie mike, looked back at the vehicle and said unto myself "dumbass!"

Sniping on a bridge battle on Cyssor, and all of a sudden seing a November Charlie cloaker fall like a rag dall in front of me. I promptly got a "WTF!!!" tell.

Nailing vangards with a thumper with EMP nades and watching them run away PDQ.

I had an extremly rare opportunity. NC AMS was positioned in some trees, like at EXTREME rangefrom the base i was defending. I couldnt see it, but it could see the shimmering of ppl moving around under the cloak bubble. I had the zoom implant in, i must have been the nly one cause no other sniper took the shots. The equipment terminal was perpendicular to my position, i had a clear shot at everyone requiping. Ohhh that was fun. I was slamming the rounds down range like a monkey on crack.

Nailing a VS noob at 400 meters on the run with a bolt driver. Best shot i ever made. Didnt think i'd get him.

Before I descovered the truth that is Sniping I picked it up for all of a day. This was WAAAAAAY back when. I shot the gun once. A cloaker at 400m. Luckiest shot alive. The delay time for the bullet was a solid second. Thought I missed. TOTALLY FRIGGEN SWEET. I dropped it the next day....

...Now I got it back and I am LOVING the hate tells. It means I am having an effect on em. I demoralized an entire platoon once, it seemed like. I kept getting hate tells from about 20-30 people about how I must be cheating. Kept the buggers pinned in their tower, afraid to come out, all by my lonesome. I loved that. Then the stupid zerg had to ruin my fun and cap the tower....

Killing a Prowler with my beamer because the noob couldn't steer his way outta the trees. He shoulda given up & gotten out! All I had was my beamer so he coulda smoked me w/ a cycler. It took forever!

it was probably already damaged alot. no idiot would sit in a prowler and watch it slowly get destroyed by some infantry. I cant stand it when my vanguard loses more then half its armor to wall turrets.

Don't believe me? I said the guy was obviously a noob. It was damaged to be sure but it still took me upwards of 5 minutes to K that thing.
