Either way I wont buy it because I don't feel like upgrading my computer to top of the line to enjoy it.

Yeah, but that's not even the official recommended amount, that's the official minimum amount. And we all know about those *Looks at Planetside's 'minimum playable requirements*.

There have already been benchmarks done with the minimum Doom 3 specs. They run fine, you cant really compare Doom 3 in Planetside since they are VERY different games and fare both designed around the functions the engines are to perform. The Planetside minimum specs are wrong because and Im a big fan of sony and am serious about this. The optimizations in Planetside are horrible.

It's already been stated a DVD version won't be released straight away.

Those boxes can fit 6 CD's max, and it's the standard game packaging in Europe, Jewel cases are still used over in the US, right?

doom one was hand made, but not official, a damn good mockup.

hl2 one is a photoshop of the doom one (and fucking good quality photoshop)
