You're right. Because I can't see the plain-as-day copy/paste job where the barrel meets the receiver housing, and I can't see where the recoil buffer spring plug (the very end piece) is tacked on in the same fashion.

Also, my general working knowledge of firearms is wrong too, because a weapon of this size will have some pretty fucked up recoil, that that recoil buffer spring must be super titanium/dylithium polymer alloy, to be designed and built that small and still be able to compensate for tolerable levels of recoil.

Damn me and my faulty info, you're right. It *does* just look like a MS Paint hackjob (aka game render).
