Does anyone else watch this show? This is seriously the best friggen show in the world!!!!!

I watched this on MTV the other night. It's so fun to see the students talk about thier shitty cars. Seriously! When you first see thier cars thier ready to fall apart.

In the episode I saw last night, they turned this:



into this:




It's a 1988 Hijet. Before the only thing holding it together was duct tape because all the door hinges and windows were ready to fall off. Plus it could only go 60mph.

Once the garage got thier hands on it they did amazing stuff to it. They added tvs, a mini fridge, a sofa, an amp for the students guitar, 17 inch rims, a fucking amazing paint job.

Im not sure when this show is on down in the states. But if your in Canada it should be on at 1 am on Tuesday nights. Or possibly every week night.

On one episode they got this guy's car that was so bad they just scrapped it and bought him a scion. Then they put GPS and computer systems on it and painted it with flames. Pretty funny seeing a scion with flames...

I watch it casually, and my biggest gripe with the show is how they do almost the EXACT same thing ot each car. Sure, there are minor differences (like the kid who got the water backpack or the girl who got the little water sculpture and the guy who got the PS2), but overall the cars are almost all exactly the same. (Besides colors and stuff)

Im personally not a fan of Pimp my Ride, they make west coast customs seem more incredible then it really is. plus they never do any engine work on any of the cars on that show.

Overhaulin' on TLC is much better... first they get the powertrain of the car back up and running at optimum performance, then they restore the interior and exterior in a classy way, not all gauche like MTV does it (OMG RIMS!!!!loneoen).
