Always say no to the best looking side of a game, you have to take into consideration that every newbie will look into who 'Looks' best at first. Terran Republic all the way!

(Edit: I believe all sides will come out pretty balanced though)

Somehow i doubt the NC will be the kings of firepower and armor... I put my money on TR having the most armor since the prowler is describes as the heavily armored while the vanguard is discribed as solid.. course thats not scientific, but it's what i think =)

BUT look at the gun on the Vanguard!!! IT HUGE!!! I dont think any other vech will be able to toe to toe with it. I do think that the TR one MIGHT have more armor (due to this: http://www.planetside-universe.com/m...php?img_id=343 ) but a 150mm gun does a lot more dmg than a 100 mm gun.

I'm all for the NC, but stop with these lame posts allready.

Terrans are the kings of firepower, all things considered. The ROF will be able to do more damage quickly, but not neccisaraly on the first shot.

The NC will have the best damage per shot, but at the expence of ROF. Also, it has been indirectly stated that the Vangaurd will have shields. I'm to lasy to look up a link right now, but it was durrring one of the dev interviews that this was aluded to.

High damage per shot however will still be an asset as the first shot can make a huge difference, especialy with infantry support.

The Vanu will have the advantage of speed and better ability at range(lower recoil). The also have the vercitility of only haveing to carry 1 ammo type for both normal and AP fireing modes.

It will be funny when your reavers get 1-shoted by good Vangaurd gunners, and there always the dual 20mm cannons that I immagine will do very respectable damage to aircraft.
