PlanetSide keeps shutting down on me!

Hey all! Well here is the situation. While trying to play PlanetSide it will freeze and a system error comes up sayin "Microsoft windows detected and recovered from a device failure. Please save your work and reboot to restore full functionality" Sony wrote me an email and i did sumthin dealin with dxdiag when i did that sumthin came up saying "dxdiag has detected that there may have been a problem accessing direct3d the last time this program was used. Would you like to bypass this time" Sony asked me a bunch of questions and shit on my memory and stuff like that but they havent wrote back to me yet i figured id ask to see if anyone else knew. Any help would be appreciated THANX!

When things like that happen I just reinstall things.

I had that problem when i installed my new graphics card. I installed the newer DirectX (9.0c) and it solved it .
