Wonderfully made, beautiful fight scenes, but feels contrived at times, and had the worst ending to be comitted to film, simply because it ends 45 times.

That's all I agree with you about. I never did like the fight scenes where there seems to be no FUCKING GRAVITY! Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon all over again, damn oriental films.

Lonehunter, it's cool for gravity to relax its laws when two people are kung-fu fighting and happen to fall off a roof.

OK, heres a few more things on my mind that I want to know if they're considered cool or not.

***POSSIBLE SPOILERS***

1) When to guys are fighting, Jet Li's sword can cut the other guys' sword in half, but then he bends ther SAME fucking sword at almost a 90 degre angle to smack somebody accross the stomach.

2) When Jet Li is fighting the first assin, they don't fight at first at all, they just VISUALIZE half the battle like some oriental fucking hippies. They even stop fighting completely to tell some old dude who plays music, "Hey, could ya play another one?"

3) WHY does the movie end FOUR TIMES! The King will say "Ah, you can not trick me, I know you did this..." and a 30 minute movie part goes on explaining it. Then Jet Li says, "No, for you are wrong, I did this..." and another 30 minute movie session begines! WTF!

Bottom line, this movie was not for me, I can see why soem people like it. It's more about Philosophy, which sometimes does not interest me.

Yes this movie was based on oriental films but it was produced by who? Quentin Tarantino, the same person who did kill bill.

The sword thing... it's a Tai Chi sword those swords are very sharp and very flexible like most asian weapons.

As for the rest I couldnt tell you since I havent seen it yet.

What is your point there? About the swords, they bend and STAY bent like rubber, in the fighting scenes, maybe that is how it truely is but if so then that sucks for them.

My point is... it's not an oriental film, it's purely american.
