I need a new Heatsink/Fan for my P4 2.8c. I was suggested >> http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProduc...109-114&depa=1 for the heat sink. If I do get that what fan would you guys suggest?

That heatsink is win.
Any 92mm fan will do really, but if you dont mind a bit of noise go with http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...999-613&depa=1 If you like quiet, although not a lot of CFM, but it does keep yuo at safe levels assuming you arent OCing, and dont have a hot room, and good case airflow, you can use this http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...999-603&depa=1 I've also used these in conjunction with that same heatsink for a few friemds computers. http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/fan-87.html Keep in mind, at full blast the last too cant compare cooling wise with the Tornado. Which you'll probably want a fan controller,a simple rheostat(sp?) from your local hardware store works just fine. Dont recall if it comes with one or not.

Ok thanks for the links Matt.
I'm not OCing, computer is in a warmer room of the house. I don't think I want the first fan after reading some of the review. That may be a bit too loud for me. Next question is, about how large is the stock P4 2.8c heatsink fan? Just wondering to compare with the heatsink fans I'm looking at. I'm not good with visualizing sizes. Cause I'm just worried that that the new heatsink/fan might be to big to fit in my case.

Dimension wise its only a bit taller than a stock intel heatsink, but you can usually check the manufacturers websites for both to make sure it would fit.
or you can use my handy templates, and cut them out! yay for arts and crafts!

I almost got that one last wk but decided to try the new XP-90 instead. Rated very good on overclockers.com. I went with a Sunon 92mm High Output. The panaflo is also good. Delta's and Tornado's just to loud. I'll never use my 80mm tornado again unless I wanna piss someone off.

Ok great info guys, I think I have just one more question, anyone know the stock fan's noise level(dBa)? Just so I can compair how loud the sites say those fans are with how load my current fan is. I see the Sunon 92mm is 33 dBa and the Vantec "Stealth" 92mm is 20 dBa, but that means nothing to me. I'd like to know about how many dBa is the stock P4 fan.

Put it this way, if someone was whispering to you, its about 30db.
Stock fans are a bit louder, and significantly louder when they are running full blast, about 40ish.

note decibles(for onlookers) are not linear as far as loudness goes, each dB is a power of the one before it
