Yes, there will be times of day, realisticaly leading from night to day time. There will also be weather effects, but I'm not quite sure what kind of weather you can expect to see. They did mention since it is an alien world, there will be some exotic effects.

Anyone can comment on how long a day cycle will be? in terms of playtime.... like in DoAc it was around 20 mins or somethin'...

Wonder if it will be like in real life, based on a specific timeframe. Like if its night in LOS, its night in the game.. and so on... would be interesting, but not really interesting for some players... always playing in the same timeframe.

Day Cycle in DAoC I am almost positive was an hour, and was insanely annoying when you arrive at 6AM in game time to wait for a mob that pops at 12-4AM.

Anyhow, I am not sure if they have mentioned the time cycles.

The day and night time is still one of those things in constant flux. When I played back in december I asked the length, the answer was it's still being tweaked
