I've been reading and hearing all over the place things like this:
You press Key [x] to do this and key [y] to do that... However, there's been no mention of re-mapping keys. I'm a weirdo and use a esdf config instead of a wasd config when playing games. I would hope that I can customize everything (hopefully even hud layout). |

I thought about this too, I always map every key in the control scheme to be within reach of my left hand, even in games like Mechwarrior that have a thousand different functions to worry about. I like to keep my mouse hand on the mouse at all times. I never really thought about it though, seeing as how no developer worth his salt would EVER make a FPS without customizeable keys.
